I am currently in the grip of a particularly strong urge to buy a scooter and steampunk it up.
I already wanted a scooter.
I can just picture how awesome it would be to putter around town on something like that. And then pulling into the gas station? Awesome!
Or… electric! More awesome, less cool/authentic sounding.
My bicycle sucks. Maybe I’ll try steampunking that up a bit first, since I already own it. ^_~
I highly encourage any mode of transportation that uses 2 wheels. Scooters are an excellent investment, and you can get a pre-owned one right now cheap, since winter is so close. If you buy in spring, you’ll at least pay 30-50% more.

You need an M license to operate one now (in Ontario), right? I’ll have to look into that too…
Josh isn’t really keen on the idea, since I “already have one vehicle that’s useless for transporting anything”, but I’ve always wanted a scooter. Full-on motorcycles still scare me, but scooters look fun.
